First thing we did upon arriving was go to the 1st themepark in America --
Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County. It is around 30minutes from downtown LA. And if you are staying around the area, you can easily drive to Disneyland which is 10minutes away!
There are lots of rides at the park. We only tried one (or should i say i was pushed and dragged to ride) - SUPER SCREAM. One of the world's tallest, most radical thrill adventures. In seconds, you're propelled straight up, 254 feet in midair, but there's no time to enjoy it. Suddenly, you plunge straight down at a streaking speed that defies the laws of gravity--more than 50 miles an hour.
I didn't try this ride when we were in Hong Kong Ocean Park. But this time, i was not able to escape. It was a thrill ride. I was really screaming like crazy but i almost cannot hear myself. It was quite scary while we were being hoisted up slowly. And once we were up there, we can only wait, and pray, until the time of the plunge down. It's like we were floating on our seats!
We visited, and enjoyed the most, Camp Snoopy. There was also a ice skating show, of course, with Snoopy and the gang. I can't imagine how they could carry the bulky costumes and still be able to skate gracefully.
Admission cost $32.25 per adult and $24.75 per child.
