LEGOLAND San Diego, CA(2003)

We visited Legoland on a weekend. It was around 2 and a half hours drive from LA. Stopped by at Goodah for breakfast (yummy filipino food in the States!). We went with Tita Nora and Tita Emma, and Maricris and baby JP (on another car). Legoland is heaven for legolovers. There are miniature lego figures of San Francisco and other famous places and sights all over the world. There are also human-sized and giant-sized lego figures of einstein, bionicles, starwars cast, and a lot more. There was also a boat ride where we were taken around the grounds of legoland with the showcase of different scenes in the nursery rhymes and classic stories.

Here are some of the sights we enjoyed at Legoland...

Kelvin checking out the Junior Driving School. The kids can drive the cars in the funtown. They have stop lights, make-shift roads and some buildings. After completing the course, they will be given a driver's license. Kelvin was too shy to try it though.

we had NO IDEA what bionicles were during our visit

We really had a fun time at Legoland. The place had a wide variety of lego structures/exhibits from fairy tales characters, musical instruments, movie characters, toy immitations, famous city miniatures, and others. It also has some rides (for kids and adults) and 3D shows. It is worth another visit. Just a caution, if you're going on a summer's day put sunblock. It was soooo hot that we got sunburn!!
